Vessel Registration

SLMARAD is an open Registry accepting any Ship Owner worldwide and various type of vessels that meet the Sierra Leone standards in accordance with Sierra Leone Merchant Shipping Act, 2003.

Seafarers Certification

SLMARAD is issuing endorsements for all officers on board Sierra Leonean Vessels as required by regulation I/10 of the STCW Convention.

Verification of Certificates

A certificate issued by Sierra Leone Maritime Administration (SLMARAD) can be verified within 48 hours from the date of issuance.
